-Jankiewicz advised the Board that the bank account balance was $7,175.60

The 2009 Awards Banquette cost the club $2239.99

Activities Chair Report

-The Board has decided to hold the 2010 Awards Banquette at Strongbow Inn.

Race Chair Report

-Ux spoke with Dale Frame from Western Michigan Region in regards to co-hosting a road race for 2012. The Western Michigan Region said they are very interested.

Rally Chair Report

-The Turkey Rally will be held in November this year. Exact date is yet to be determined.

Solo Chair Report

-Gast is still waiting on Solo date approvals for the Majestic Star Casino lot and for the Portage High School lot.

-Gast has estimates for a 2nd timing display: $1842.90 for Wireless, $1100.00 for a wired display.

-Gast informed the Board that the dates the club would like to host an Evolution Driving School are open. Evolution Driving School is now taking full payment from students and after their cost have been removed the club will get an expense sheet and a check for left over money.

-The Board agreed to give Chareice White from the Majestic Star Casino a plaque thanking her and the Majestic Star Casino for the use of their parking lot for our solo events.

Membership Chair Report

-Laks informed the Board that the membership number as of the meeting was 101.

-Laks advised the Board that some members do not get their SCCA membership renewal letter until after their membership has expired.

-Laks will advise Wheeler of the memberships that are about to expire so that the club can advise the member that their membership is about to expire.

-Laks along with the other members of the Board or going to work on putting together a way to let non-members know the benefits and discounts one will get becoming a member of the SCCA.

-The Board agreed that the new members should be listed and welcomed in the monthly news letter.

Autograph Chair Report

-The Board agreed to recognize member’s birthdays each month, and recognize members that have been involved in road racing in the recent months. Laks will advise Wheeler of the up coming birthdays each month.

-The Board also asked that the letter be typed in a large font and double spaced.

Jankiewicz is still waiting on prices for insurance for the solo van aka the “Tube.”

-The club is still looking for a new embroidery service. Ux will check a shop he had passed in Hobart for pricing.

- Wheeler advised the Board that charter info should be in to the state by 2-15-10.

-The Board is still considering a booth at the Street Rod Fest and was advised the cost is $25.00 per booth.

-The Board is looking in to a banner that could be hung above the start line or a board that could be next to the start line at our solo events with the clubs web address so that participants taking video will have our web page address seen by whom ever watches the video.

Web Page Updates

-The board asked that a copy of the monthly news letter be e-mailed to our web master the same time it is mailed to other members.

-Ux wrote an “About Us” proposal with a description of the INR history, 21 points club, Spark Plug of the Year Award, Cone Killer Trophy, Soloist of the Year Award, Road Racer of the Year Award, and Worker of the Year Award requirements. This is to be posted in the “About Us” section.

-The 21 points club points will be updated once a month.

-The 2007 Photo Gallery will be removed or updated with new pictures or a link to a INR photo hosting page. Old Business

-The Board decided that for next year’s Solo Awards if only two members raced in the same class then a 1st and 2nd place trophy will be reworded for the year.

-The By-laws will be reviewed and revised by the Board and presented at a membership meeting in the future.

-The Solo program is looking for a place to keep the Solo Van while not in use. The Board is going to ask the Majestic Star Casino if it would be OK to keep it in their parking lot.

-The Board is entertaining the idea of a sport car show at the Expo Center in Porter County.

-Ux had an idea of the club buying a racecar and renting it to INR members only to try to help members get in to club racing.
