Treasurer Report

Jankiewicz advised the Board that the bank account balance was $4744.19

Activities Chair Report

Ux advised the Board that the 2010 INR Weigh in and Annual Race Car Tech will be held 3-7-10 @ Ux’s, Shaffer’s, and Lak’s shop from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Toledo Region will be holding a SCCA Spring Training Event March 6th.

Race Chair Report

Ux and Jankiewicz stated that the Annual Race Car Tech will be held at the Weigh in.

Rally Chair Report

Wheeler stated that the Turkey Rally is still in November.

Solo Report

Gast reported that he is still waiting for the Sanction Forms to return from SCCA Corporate.

The Evo School will be held May 1st and may 2nd

All of the 2010 Solo Dates have been approved by the Majestic Star and Portage High School. The Dates are:

April 25 Majestic
May 1&2 Majestic
May 23 Majestic
June 19 & 20 Majestic--Divisional Series Event
July 18 Portage
August 22 Majestic
September 5 Majestic
September 25 & 26 Season Finally

For the 2010 Evolution Driving the Board has approved a rate of $250 for day one or day two or $475 if a driver signs up for both days. This is the same rate the club charged 3 years ago.

The Web mast will add all solo dates to the www.motorsports.reg page.

The Board approved solo rates for 2010 @ $20 for a pre-registered member, $30 for a pre-registered non-member $25 for an on site member and $35 for an on site non-member.

The Divisional Solo Even will be an On-line registration only. No on site registrations will be accepted

Gast will be checking on Out House rental prices to see if the club can get a better rate.

Gast and Fog designed a new Solo Trophy for 2010 @ a cost of $5.00 per trophy. The club will be ordering 130 trophies for the season.

The Board approved the new Solo Trophy design of magnetic cones that can be displayed on the side of ones car. The cones will display 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.

A Solo Pre-Check Event will be held Sunday April 11th @ 12:00 pm. Participants will check all electronic and safety equipment for proper operation. The solo even procedures will also be reviewed.

The Board has decided that to plate, register, and insure the “tube” is far too expensive compared to having a member tow the trailer. The Board has decided to use the trailer instead and maybe compensate the member that brings the trailer to the event(s).

Membership Chair Report

Laks reported that our membership count is 105 members.

News Letter/Autograph

Wheel advised the Board that he will be surveying to see how many members would like to receive the monthly news letter by e-mail instead of on paper to try to save on postage and paper cost.

Special Committees Report

Ux stated he would like the Board to form a committee to oversee the new By Laws for the club. This is a process that should open to all members and not just limited to the Board. An announcement will be made in the March News Letter or on the INR web page that a By Law Review Meeting will be held April 3rd @ 6:00 pm at the Griffith Middle School.

Unfinished Business

Wheeler advised the Board that the Street Roder’s Car Show will be on Jun 5th and 6th. The cost for an INR booth will be $15. The booth set up time is between 7:00 and 8:00 am the day of the show.

Ux reported that he received embroidery prices from Sewing by Judy. An example of her prices: A polo shirt purchased from her with our logo embroidered on it would cost $21 to $22. If a shirt is brought to her she can add our logo to it for the cost of $6.50

The “About Us” updates need to be sent to the Web Master.

The Board has decided that there will be no more leather jackets offered to club members to do the cost of getting said jackets and having them embroidered.

The Board discussed replacing the leather jacket award with an award of the recipients choice, i.e. Wheel would like to purchase a race flag set for his price. The price has yet to be determined.
