Solo II events are driving skill contests that emphasize the driver's ability and the car's handling characteristics.

This is accomplished by driving a course that is designated by traffic cones on a low hazard location, such as a parking lot or inactive airstrip.

While speeds are no greater than those normally encountered in legal highway driving, the combination of concentration and car feedback creates an adrenaline pumping experience.

Events

You'll need a safe car, seat belts, an effective muffler, and an approved helmet (Snell 2010 or newer). Some loaner helmets will be available.

General Event Guidelines

On site registration 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

There will be a $10.00 penalty for onsite registration ($45/$55)
& entry is not guaranteed (so pre-register!)

Tech open 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Novices must be registered by 8:30 a.m.
& present for Novice Meeting & Walk at 9:00 a.m.

Driver Meeting: 9:30 a.m.
First car off approximately 10:00 a.m.
There may be a lunch break

If you plan to run a KART, you must notify us beforehand.

If you are a minor (under 18) and wish to attend, print out Minor Waiver in COLOR and call Brandon Mihal at (219) 308-0706 two weeks in advance.
If you do not call, we may have to deny entry.
